Walden Pond

We have decided to try and get as much last minute sight-seeing we can in the last couple months we have here. So on ONE nice warm day we had we chose to go to Walden Pond. Elder Perry mentioned Walden Pond in his conference talk about living simple. Walden Pond is where writer Henry David Thoreau lived for two years on $28.12. It was a great talk and it got us both wanting to go see this place. Here are some pictures I was able to take while we were there.

My dare devil. He kept trying to get in the freezing water and Emma kept screaming his name and freaking out. She is just a little like me...

Gabey finally woke up and enjoyed the scenery...

Emma did eventually perk up and enjoy herself. Ces took them both up a side trail and they found a hill covered in ice that they slid down a few times. He didn't have the camera so I don't have pics but they had a good time. We went for pizza afterwards, too. We had a wondeful time.
