Preschool

I never thought I would send Miguel to preschool but when my Mom told me that my preschool teachers ( who has since retired), daughter was starting her own preschool I could not resist. He had been begging to go to school like Emma anyways and I thought he would enjoy it. He does! He has made a really good friends and loves learning new things. He only goes twice a week which works well for me because I miss him like crazy when he is gone. Here a some pics from his first day.

August

This August was a fun but very stressful month for us. We purchased a house and Emma started school at her new school. We love our home but MAN! is it a TON of WORK!!!! There is so much that has to be done that we are used to other people doing for us since we've always lived in apartments. It's a great house though...it's a 4 bedroom 2 bath with a huge backyard ( the main reason we purchased it). We also live next door to a horse pasture and in our backyard there is a gate that if opened brings you right to the horses with nothing between you but a chain and some poles. Here are some pics of the house. The only ones I have are from the real estate listing. If I ever get done unpacking and decorating I'll post some better ones :D

We were lucky enough to get Emma into a great school with a spanish program. She had a tough transition but is starting to find her footing and doing great. I am thrilled! We went from crying every morning and begging for me to take her back home to walking herself in and only three days out of the week asking to stay home :D Here are some pics from her first day....

Happy Birthday, Miguel!!!

Miguel is 3!!! Yes, I'm a little behind, but on June 22nd, we celebrated my baby boys third birthday. What a sweet and loving little guy we have been blessed with. Here are a few things we love about our Bubba: sweet, big time cuddle bug, passion for life and everything around him, family comedian, loves to dance and sing (usually his own creation ), makes up great stories and many, many more. He is a blast to be around!!!

Miguel is really into Transformers right now. So , we tried to go all out; we had transformer cups, plates, napkins, hats, banners and of course toys! He got tons of transformer toys, which of course take hours and hours to transform. : } Here are some pics from the day.

Happy Birthday, Emma!!!

On May 31, my little princess, turned 6! I still can't believe it. Where did all the years go? She is still the most precious little girl in the world. She still has the same tiny little voice and the most sweet spirit and to top it off she is adorable!! What more can you ask for?

As most of you know, Emma is a animal lover. Since the age of 3 she has wanted to be a vetaranarian. She has not waivered, well, she did for about an hour one day when she decided she just wanted to be a vet assistant because she didn't want to do the surgeries on animals. But like I said it only lasted about an hour. She came back and decided that was where she could help them the most. :D

So, keeping with her love of animals we had an animal party. Since we had just moved back and were lacking in the friends department. I decided to take Emma to an Animal Safari about an hour and a half away with her brothers, grandparents, a couple Uncles and of course Mommy and Daddy. :) She loved it!! We were able to feed animals and then there is a drive-thru part as well. It was a lot of fun.

Then the next day we had a swim party at my Mom's with the rest of my family. My sister, Janie ( who is training to be a pastry chef) and I made animal cupcakes, they decorated animal balloons and we ate ice cream and opened presents!(in the picture below are monster puppets that Miguel wanted to make her) It was a great day!!

Not so private

When I told my husband I was making our blog private he wasn't too excited about the idea. We have quite a bit of family (mostly grandparents) that read our blog rather frequently and they do not have accounts with the blogging community. So, thank you for all those who asked to be invited but we will be staying public. : / At least, I know now that I have many people who read and enjoy our blog. :D Thanks, guys!! I will try and stay as updated as possible :D

Yep, he's mine...

One of Ces' favorite dessert places in Boston was in the North End, Mike's Pastry(he loved their cannoli's). On our last night there he went with his family and brought me back my favorite, their chocolate mousse cake! So yummy!! They knew how to combine three different chocoaltes and make it taste just perfect. Not too rich, but just perfect. I made the mistake of leaving the box along with Gabe on the floor while I went to the bathroom. This is what I came back to.

WE DID IT!!!

Ces graduated from Law School!! No more school!! After seven years of schooling we are finally done. I cannot express my excitement for this!!! :D

Ces' parents and two brothers came to share in the big event. My Mom watched Emma and Miguel while Ces, Gabe and myself flew back to Boston for it. It was a fun time. Here are some pics of the festivities.

It's been a crazy few months...

So, I'm really behind like always. It's been really busy accompanied by a broken computer, meant no blogging for me. But before I start catching up I think it is time for our blog to go private. A Goodbye to Cambridge

When we moved to Cambridge I thought that we had moved to the worst place ever! I wondered what I had gotten myself into. Then, when it was time to say good bye, just three short years later, I cried because I didn't want to leave. What a wonderful time we had. It was such great learning and growing experience for us. Mine and Ces' relationship was strengthened because it was just us. We had to lean on one another. My relationship with my Heavenly Father grew tremendously and I gained extreme gratitude, understanding and love for Relief Society and the sisters in it. My family away from home. Our dear friends, who made the whole experience bearable for me, they were there to help through sad and hard times and to celebrate during the happy ones too. Julie, you always knew how to throw a great party! :D I miss all of you so terribly much. It was a beautiful place to live, as well, with tons of cool things to see. We will miss so many things about it but what we will miss our friends the most.

One last adventure

Our last weekend in Cambridge was spent with our good friend Ruby. She took us north to see Maine. It was absolutely beautiful and we had so much fun. THANKS RUBY!!!
